What we collect

When you register a player, we collect: first and last name, date of birth, email, guardian email (for players under 18), country, club, rank, EGF PIN, and any comment you add. Date of birth is used only to compute the age category and is never published.

Minors

Most participants are under 18. A parent or guardian's email is required for minors, and any confirmation communication for a minor's registration also goes to that address.

Public participant list

The list of registered players shown on the Registration page is opt-in: it only includes your first name, last name, category, country, club, and rank if you explicitly checked the public-list box when registering. Your total is still counted in the published number of participants even if you opted out of the list.

Photos

Consent to publish event photos (e.g. in the News page after the event) is a separate checkbox from the public participant list — you can agree to one without the other.

Who sees the full data

Full registration records, including email addresses and comments, are visible only to the organizing team for running the tournament, contacting participants, and reporting to the European Go Federation. They are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

Registration records are kept for as long as needed to organize the event and satisfy any federation reporting requirements, then deleted.
