Tap water in Belgrade is safe to drink. There are restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores throughout Novi Beograd, most open roughly 08:00–20:00, some later.

Serbia's currency is the Serbian dinar (RSD). Cards are widely accepted in Belgrade; carrying some cash is still useful for smaller purchases.
